Hello friends,
wanted to see the timeline of EAD renewals currently..I have a EAD renewal receipt notice date of June 18th......was wondering how many days is TX taking to approve the notice....
Did aanyone around June 15 -June 20th get any approval yet?
Isn't it too soon to expect it? They usually take 45 to 60 days. It has been only a couple of weeks.

You can work on H1B visa till you get FINAL approval or denial.

My I-140 approved. Based on the July 2007 Visa Bulletin revision threat on June 30th, I have prepared and submitted I-485 package with all necessary documents along with approved I-140 copy. I sent the package to Nebraska Service Center and it reached on July 2nd. In the last minute, my company also submitted the I-485 package. My company sent the package on July 1st and reached on July 2nd at Texas Service Center. This was happened due to some communication gap between my company and me.
My questions are:
1. Will there be any problem if there are two package submitted? One from me and one from my company law firm?
2. Will they reject one of the package? If so, which one will be returned?
3. Is it possible to withdraw one of the package?

I have a unique situation, my laywer sent I-485,EAD and AP together in July. I got the receipt for I-485 but still awaiting for the reciepts for EAD and AP. Please advise what could be done in this situation, its already been almost 5 months ?

It took 8 months for the paper work,running ads etc.
It was filed on Nov 9th and my HR got approval on Jan 5th.
EB3 and EB2 from same Company.

Were you given a 221g? possibly green or some other color?
It appears from your email that you have submitted the requested documents and got the email from the embassy to submit the passport. If this is the case you may want to follow up with the embassy.

Even I changed my address last month. No RFE.
Now Again I want to chnage. I want to know If I just submit AR11 online, without updating the pending applications ( not expecing any communication for CIS next couple of months). Will they look in to AR11 and issue RFE(If at all).OR it is just a record no one care unless you chnage the pending applications.

It is a "MUST" to update address on all the pending applications too. Look at the below thread for more info...

Presently I am on H1B visa status, valid till March 2009. My PD is of June 2005 and I-140 was done in 2005 also, presently trapped in retrogression.
I have a great offer from a big oil company. After my possible joining to them with H1B transfer, they are willing to start my labor also. In such a case, I want my new labor to be filed ASAP, as my son will be 21 years old in march 2008.
In a case I join this new company in middle of August, when do you think my labor could be filed....I heard there is some two months advertising involved before filing in PERM.

I am living in US and am currently on AOS (Adjustment of Status), my mom is staying with me on tourist visa but her visa expires in middle of June this year. Last year my father expired and my mother is incapable of taking care of herself alone (she is suffering from pysio frania which basically means she fears strangers and repeats stuff) so i would like to apply for Visa extension for her. Can anyone suggest what points i should take care of while applying for Visa extension for her? or is there any visa under which i can have stay with me in US as dependent??
